2020 - the year for a new bike.

So the plans to give you a bit of a feature on a monthly basis went well and truly out of the window- In our defence, we have been just too busy - the workshop has been flat out keeping you guys on the road since the start of the year ,and from Springtime until now there just has not been opportunity to sit down and put something together.

" ah so everything has quietened down now has it?" we hear you cry - not much to be honest , BUT there are so many updates to our bike ranges we just have to get some more info beyond a single bike Instagram or Facebook post .

 

What new bikes can we tempt you with for 2020 ?

 

Check out the pics above for some of the stock that has arrived in this week alone - E-Bikes continue to grab the headlines with the Powerfly 5 and Rail 9.7 Carbon using the new Gen.4 motor from Bosch for the ultimate reliability and ease of use.

Not that we're forgetting the ' acoustic ' mountain bikers either , 2020 brings a revamp to the Trek Fuel EX and Top Fuel with new frames, longer travel, slacker geometry and the latest transmissions. The Roscoe plus bike is still the go-to trail hardtail but close behind it is the Cujo from Cannondale with top spec parts and some awesome retro-mod colours and if you're a little more budget conscious check out the Marlin range, off road ready ,hydraulic brakes and some really trick paint jobs from just £395.

 

 

Disc road and gravel bikes continue to reinforce what the mountain bikers already knew long ago-disc brakes stop you better and riding off road is fun but now we can do these things with drop bars too - best stick one ( of each of them) on the Christmas list and the choice of bikes is mighty. Want something that will cope with Manx roads on a morning commute, no problem, Want to frighten mountain bikers through Archallagan or Cringle pulling a 42/11t down the fire roads, there's options a-plenty like the Cannondale Topstone and CAADX and the Checkpoint and Checkpoint SL Carbon gravel bike from Trek .
